Whois Privacy Protection in Shared Website Hosting
If you get a shared website hosting plan from us, you’ll be able to enable Whois Privacy Protection for any of your domain names on the condition that their extensions support this service. You can register or transfer a domain name and enable Whois Privacy Protection during the registration process or you can enable the service for any of your domains at any moment afterwards via the Hepsia hosting Control Panel. The process is really easy – after you log in, you’ll need to visit the Registered Domains section where you will notice a list of all the domains that you have registered through our company. For each of them you will see an “Whois Privacy Protection” logo, which will show you whether the service is activated or not. By clicking it, you can either Whois Privacy Protect the domain, or you can disable the service if it is currently enabled.
Whois Privacy Protection in Semi-dedicated Servers
Ordering Whois Privacy Protection for any domain name is very easy if you’ve got a semi-dedicated server. As long as the domain name is registered with our company, it will be displayed in the Registered Domains section of the Hepsia hosting Control Panel that is included with each semi-dedicated server plan. If a given generic or country-specific domain name supports Whois Privacy Protection, you will see a small sign to the right of that domain. To enable the Whois Privacy Protection service, you’ll need to click on it. In the same manner, you can also renew or deactivate the service. You can activate Whois Privacy Protection for a domain during the registration procedure too, but since the Whois Privacy Protection service is optional, we’ll offer you the chance to add it to any of your domain names at a later point in time if you think things over and decide to conceal your personal info from the public after you’ve already ordered the semi-dedicated account.
