Custom MX and A Records in Shared Website Hosting
The Hepsia hosting CP, that comes with each and every Linux shared website hosting which we offer, will allow you to view, change and set up A and MX records for each Internet domain or subdomain inside your account. Using the DNS Records section, you will be able to view a list of all hosts in the account in alphabetical order with their related records, so any update is not going to take you more than a few clicks. Creating new records is equally easy if, for example, you wish to use the email services of another provider and they ask you to create more MX records than the default 2. You may also set the priority for every MX record by setting different latency. To put it differently, when your e-mails are delivered, the sending server will contact the record with the smallest latency first and if the connection times out, it is going to contact the next one. Using our advanced tool, you are going to be able to handle the records of your domains and subdomains with ease even though you may have no previous experience with such matters.
Custom MX and A Records in Semi-dedicated Servers
Accessing and modifying the A or MX records for any of your domains or subdomains is incredibly easy if you buy a semi-dedicated server plan through our company. The accounts are maintained through our in-house built Hepsia Control Panel, which features a section committed to the DNS records of your domain addresses. The latter is going to be listed alphabetically and you could click on each of them to see both the A and the MX records. Editing any record is as easy as entering the new one in a text box and saving the change, so even though you may have never dealt with such matters before, you will not encounter any problems if you choose to direct your website or e-mails to another service provider while keeping the second service with our company. If needed, you can also set up additional MX records and set a specific priority based on the instructions of the new provider.
